No. It is intentionally small. You work directly with people who own the work - not a revolving cast of junior account managers.
Who we are, why we exist, and how we work with founders.
Dream Giant is an embedded outbound partner for founder-led B2B marketing agencies, founded by Shane Miller in Thousand Oaks, California in 2016. This page covers the founder, the story, our values, what embedded means in practice, the milestones, how we work day to day, and the questions founders ask before a first call.
If you only read one section, read Embedded partner, not another vendor - it is the contract in spirit before the legal one.

Who is Shane Miller?
Founder and CEO, Dream Giant. Host of The Growth Machine. Thousand Oaks, California.
Shane Miller founded Dream Giant in 2016 after years inside marketing agencies watching the same pattern repeat: brilliant founders with no way to find clients who did not already know them. Referrals worked until they did not, and when they stopped, everything stopped.
He built Dream Giant as an embedded partner rather than a lead-gen vendor. He sits inside a client agency, learns the voice, studies the ICP, and builds the outbound engine the agency needs but will never hire for, capped at three to five clients at a time so every account gets him directly. Since 2021 the system has run on a signal stack that monitors hiring, funding, pipeline pain posts, lost-client posts, and tech-stack gaps every day, so every message is triggered by something the prospect just did, said, or lost.
A UCLA alumnus, Shane also hosts The Growth Machine, a podcast with 80 long-form conversations with founders, operators, and leaders. He is based in Thousand Oaks, California, and works with founder-led B2B marketing agencies across the United States.

Agencies do not fail because the work is bad. They fail because nobody built the bridge to the next client.
The best shops Shane worked with had portfolio pages that could make a grown marketer cry - and an empty calendar two months later. Referrals had carried them until the network exhausted itself. That gap is not a motivation problem. It is an infrastructure problem.
Dream Giant was built to be the thing founders hire when they are done buying lists, done with “just run more volume,” and ready for a system that treats outbound like a product: instrumented, iterated, and owned by someone who loses sleep when meetings do not show.
That is why the model is embedded, not transactional. You are not renting a login. You are plugging in a partner whose incentives line up when your pipeline does.
Outcome honesty
If the math does not work for your offer or market, we say so early. No sunk-cost theater.
Small book by design
Capacity is a feature. A partner who runs forty accounts cannot do signal work honestly.
Systems over heroics
We document, automate the boring parts, and reserve human time for judgment calls that move revenue.
Teach while shipping
You should understand enough to steer - without needing to become a deliverability engineer.
Embedded partner - not another vendor row
- We own the outbound machine, not a single campaign name
- Pipeline metrics you would defend to a business partner
- Delivery calendar coordination so sales promises match ops reality
- Weekly improvement from reply data, not guessing
- List broker with a sequencer skin
- “Set and forget” SaaS posture
- Meetings that never showed, reported anyway
- Shop stacking 60 clients
Milestones
Dream Giant starts
Focused on helping agencies stop treating outbound like a side project. Early work was hands-on lists, copy, and the unglamorous DNS layer everyone skipped.
Embedded model hardens
Retainers moved toward owning infrastructure end to end - not “campaigns” in isolation. Reporting shifted to meetings and pipeline, not vanity sends.
Signal stack maturity
Clay-style tables, scoring, and refresh rules became standard. The edge was no longer “we send email” but “we know why this row exists.”
Growth Machine in the wild
Long-form conversations with operators became a public asset - proof that the thinking is consistent whether you ever become a client.
Async by default
Looms, written recaps, and shared docs beat standing meetings. We protect your calendar.
Slack or email
Your preference. No proprietary portal to hide behind.
No mystery work
You always see what ran, what changed, and why. If we cannot explain it, we do not ship it.
Practice
About the practice
Straight answers - how we are structured, who we serve, and what to bring before you book. No deck theater.
The sweet spot is founder-led B2B marketing agencies. Exceptions exist when the motion is nearly identical; we are honest in the first call if we are not the right fit.
Yes. Outbound touches strategy; we treat your positioning and lists accordingly.
Offer clarity, three reference clients, and realistic calendar capacity. If you are still rewriting your homepage weekly, we may recommend sequencing work after positioning stabilizes.
Your next two clients are already out there signaling.
20 minutes. No deck. No pitch. A real conversation about your pipeline and whether there is a fit.
If we are not a fit, we will tell you on the call and point you somewhere better.
